The only suspension linkages I know of that are shared across platforms with different wheelbases and track widths are solid axle trucks.
Even Honda's use different suspension parts on every single vehicle.
Just cause it looks similar doesn't mean it is.
Hell, take a look at any LMP or F1 car's suspension, they all look exactly the same but are night and day in geometry.

That's because it is. I read it in one of the articles. As far as where this chassis came from-read the Saturn Curve press release-talks about how the platform was built using existing production components with some new items. Another clue is that the Solstice has almost identical dimensions to that of the fiero gt. I see it as a front engine fiero with some new susp components.
