As much as I dread the chrome bar I have this bad feeeling we will see C6

Reasons-

#1 The SS Concept has one, and it supposedly was the concept to show styling themes for the C6.

#2 Every recent Chevy has had the chrome bar

#3 According to people who have seen it, the upcoming Chevelle/Camaro/Monet Carlo/Whatever has a chrome bar, which shows they plan to use it on sports cars.

I think if it makes it to the C6 it will have to be subued for areodynamic reasons...but I bet it's there as much as we hate it...

it is a corvette, it doesn't follow any of Chevy's rules....

All of Chevy's cars and trucks have the bowtie... does the corvette have one????

 

Nope no bar at all. Give the C6 a chance you'll like it.

I don't think the vette will carry the bar because it doesn't have room for it. From what I hear it resembles the Tigershark front end and that means openings. BTW just speculation.

 

The Impala has a painted bar that also suits it and the previous Impala as well. If this new "whatever" car has the bar I just hope it is really thin and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb ala Chevy SS

 

They ought to just extend the chrome bar all the way around the car. That way everyone will know it's a Chevy from any angle.

Here's another idea - they could make the whole chrome bar light up! Oh, wait. That was a mid 90's Mercury idea. You don't see many of those on the road anymore. They must have been snapped up by collectors.

 

I sure hope not but i also doubt it being theres not much room on the front of the vette for anthing fancy. plus like others have said, Corvette doesnt live by Chevy's normal rules anyway.

 

Please, for Pete's sake - no bar... the vette doesn't need such a trashy looking gimmick to help it stand out.
