Why styling features should identify Chevrolet cars?

GM's styling is continuing to hit new lows, as the most recent full sized trucks seem to prove. Chevrolet's chrome mustache seems to be the posterchild for the trend.
Maybe they should just concentrate on just designing less offensive cars and trucks. My suggestion would be to keep the horizontal chrome bar for the trucks, vans and even the new HHR. (Chevrolet HHR = late '40s sedan delivery shaped PT Cruiser clone.) Give the domestically produced sedans the "chrome eggcrate." Skip all chrome and grill gimmicks on the coupes. Oh, and call the Aveo a "Geo."

The chrome bar doesn't bother me that much, but the gold bowtie LOOKS TERRIBLE!!! It makes the car look cheap and tacky. Go back to the classic blue for regular cars, red for performance, and gold can stay with the trucks.
