I like all of the LX cars. I can't even imagine the corporate ***** it took Chrysler, to replace ALL of it's volume large FWD sedans, with a bold/controversially styled family of RWD cars.

BUT.......Styling has always been subjective. I equate these cars to the stir that GM created back in the 1977 model year when we dropped anywhere from a foot or more in overall length and anywhere from 700 to 1,000 pounds per car.........some really didn't like them, but they were a resounding success.
I think DCX took a gamble.....and they're succeeding. More power to 'em!

Jealousy. I think a lot of people hate them because THEY (DCX) have RWD or AWD, a couple of V8s, wagons or sedans, reasonably priced. WE (GM) don't.
Not that I think that way. I think the cars are brilliant, offer great performance, and seem to be made to a very high quality level.
I'm not that hot on the styling, though I concur the Magnum would make a great runner/sleeper in SRT-8 form. The wife keeps bugging me about it. Good thing we're out of space for new cars for a while.

I find it funny how some whine about the weight of the cars, but I would be shocked if RWD, V8 Impala didn't come extremely close to that 2 ton limit. The GTO weight ~3700lbs, how much more do you think a car will weight with 2 more doors and a different chassis?
