Wheres the Solstice?
Wheres the Solstice?
I was just wondering where the Solstice concepts have been lately since I hadn't seen it at the Detroit Auto Show. That was one of the main reasons I went in the first place, was to see that. Is it going to be in Chicago? Was it at L.A.?
BTW, has there been any news on it yet? priceing? release dates? production #'s? specs?

Yup. I actually got a chance to go up and take a close look at the interior, one of the pluses of going on preview night, before it opens to the general public.

They are still "TRYING" to make a selling case for this car as reported by autoweek (I watched the show) last week or the week before.I think it is funny how sorry@$$ LUTZ can say it will be here when the powers that be, havent gave him the go ahead.
Just doing some webwork on the Solstice...
Did you know it ONLY took 15 weeks for the Solstice to become a running model from its conceptoul design?
Heres a rewind to when the Solstice made it debut at NAIAS 2002 (video inside)
Remember when the Solstice was suppose to be lightweight? Then someone came out and said it weighed 3000 lbs? WTF, anyway, heres some specs on it...
some pics of both the silver roadster and orange coupe
Did you know that GM wants to send the Solstice to Europe instead of America? Heres an interesting article from Forbes saying that they should sell it in the USA instead.
Articly from 2 months ago stateing that GM might build a Buick and Saturn version of the Solstice
Pictures of the Cadillac Cien, Buick Bengal, Saturn Sky, Pontiac Solstice, and Dodge Razor at the LAIAS 2003

Keep in mind that the TV show is shot probably a month or more in advance of it being shown...

I have spoke about this before but noone grabbed on it..He cant just say a car "IS" coming without going thru the bean counters.
The chassis is one thing but a whole car is another..It may come but I think it will end up
