Anyone know of any after market companies that sell digital dashes/faces?
I prefer the regular gauges. I can't stand digital. My friends old beater taurus/sable had them, and i thought they were horrid.

No Digital, but LCD that does what ever you want, maybe even as a HUD

True, we have old-tech analog gauges in conjunction with high-tech 7 inch LCD screens with GPS/NAV/CD/DVD in the center of some dash's.

I dont think anyone will be giving up their GPS/Nav systems for old fashion analog compasses anytime soon unless we enter a global military conflict and the US military is forced to shut down civilian use of their Nav Satelites.

Before you start wondering what cars will look like, you might have to first wonder (given the increasing world population and the amount of space people will take up in 100 years time & assuming we don't get a handle on population explosion)... what the roads are gonna look like? Someone has to figure out how to accomodate the massive amounts of cars on the roads 100 years from now. Imagine LA or Chicago or New York City rush hours 100 years from now. Driving will be impossible unless roads start stacking up, going underground etc. Just like in Majority Report with Tom Cruise (which someone else alluded to earlier in this thread). Flying cars that do away with the need for roads? Apart from the problem of bad drivers, I could see it happening one day if no one can find ways to deal with the sheer volumes of cars their impact on the cost & practicality of building and maintaining road surfaces that are stacked almost sky-scraper high.
