When in 1993 was the 4th gen Camaro released?

T-Tops were also very limited for 93 as well... so they are rather rare on 93's.

I remember the first 4th Gen I ever saw was at Corvette @ Carlise... A Chevy dealer had a black V6 there. I still have a picture of that car!

One of the reasons they were hard to find in 93-94 is cauz GM exported as much as they could to europe (dad worked at the plant and that's what he said, can't say if it's true though or gossip at the plant)

I don't think those were renderings, they looked like photos of actual cars.

And yes, they appeared in 1989! That is 4 years BEFORE the released model year.

I think they were hard to find those years because they were actually in demand.

My 93 was the first in Mercer County, one of the first in Jersey, it was in March of 93 when it was purchased, by original owner, the guy i bought it from. Still have hte original sticker.

Autoweek had the first one. It was the blue rendering. These were actual GM pictures of the future 4th gen. The guy who supplied them was eventually found and prosecuted.

BTW....I bet that I was the first person here to drive a 4th gen. GM supplied a red 6 speed Z/28 to me for a story I was writing for a regional publication. I think it was January of 1993.
