My trans am is never going anywhere and its keeping me plenty busy .

My 97 bonnie SSE is getting replaced by next spring if GM doesnt have any sort of official word if the Camaro is coming back FOR SURE .

I reeeeeeeeeeeally want an 03-04 Audi A4 1.8T and a 6 speed . That will most likely get the nod . Theres a couple a4's locally running mid-low 12's with little mods ....can u say didnt see that coming!!!

If GM somehow manages to realize that even di-hard GM fans are liking what there seeing elsewhere and gives the official word there will be a camaro before next spring , I'll keep my bonnie to buy a new camaro for a daily ride , just use the TA for the strip and drive the bonnie in the winter .

Havin trouble keepin the faith here:blah:

Why not get a GTO over the G35? They both have the same sleeper look, cost the same, both have lux interior, but the GTO has an LS1 and might be getting an LS2.

I'm undecided. The Zed will be paid for in a few months which means free motoring. Also we don't get the GTO up here. I could get a Solstice but that would mean owning two somewhat impractical vehicles. To be honest, I might replace the beater with a Colorado.

It actually works out ideally for me. The GP will be paid off about 2-3 months before a new Camaro should debut. GP will have 75-85k on it, Z stays tucked in the garage, 5th gen becomes new 2-3 day a week toy, GP stays as driver and winter car, and Z stays tucked in the garage

I win

Well, other than a New car, I'll have to have the wife's Park Ave repainted..Seems GM had some paint adhesion problems with the White paint, at least...After this cold winter she's getting paint bubbles the size of basketballs!.. Man, I hope they got this one worked out...
And I'm going to finish putting together my 400+HP motor for my ROC, and adding a programable ECM with Lap-Top interface...

And if I have to wait TOO LONG, I'll be sinking a bunch of dough into an mint '87 Grand National....

I went with a Nissan 350Z to replace my 97 Firebird. I can't even believe the two cars both have V6 engines! The 350Z can outaccelerate my old Firebird even starting in 2nd gear. It handles *very* well, and I can't imagine why anyone would spend the extra $$ on a G35 Coupe unless they absolutely, positively had to have a (cramped) back seat. 2003 350Z Track editions can now be had < $30K and still have a warranty.

A used C5 isn't a bad bet either, but like LS1 F-bodies, a lot of them have been ragged on hard. A 2000 C5 coupe I was looking at with 37k miles was already leaking power steering fluid!

What else? The GTO, G35 coupe, Mitsu Evo, and WRX STi are all great. The RX-8 is a nice ride as well, if not a bit slow. I'm looking forward to seeing forced-induction on the RX-8; it would be fast and still weigh < 3000 lbs.

But yeah, go test drive a 350Z. This is what a V6 F-body should drive like!

I had a chance to drive a 350Z recently.....and I was really impressed.

The motor has lots of power! But what really impressed me was the chassis. It handles phenominally. But if I were to go that route, I think I'd pop for the extra bucks for a G35 coupe.

I will get out of school at the end of the decade and will be getting the 2dr Charger, or whatever it will be called. That is unless nobody can crack the ECU coding.

Before college graduation: now till about 2006+

*I’ll be buying parts to make sure my V6 keeps going
*Restoring my Mustang as much as possible.

After college graduation: Between 2007 and 2008
*My Dads V10 F250 for sure, but I’m going to need a “fun” car….

So one of these if no Camaro…

*Used New Mustang GT vert
*New Hi-po Solstice
*Used C5 vert
*Used GTO

But of course a new Camaro if ones around.

Oh and Finnish off my Mustang project.

So even though I hate to see the Camaro out so long, it’s perfect timing for me.
