What were the coolest "Pony Cars" from the past 20 years?

Better?
'91/'92 Firehawk
'89 Turbo trans Am
2002 ZL1
These are my top three. SVT Cobras,Saleens,Camaro SSs,Firehawks, the rest of the GMMG cars, the 1LE third gens, and even the lesser versions of Camaro,Firebird and Mustang make the last 20 years the best ever for pony cars.
Now ,if the manufacturers (including Chrysler) could follow the GTO into a new age of the Musclecar we'd really have something to talk about!

Of course the classic ones are Camaro, Firebird, Mustang, Cougar, Barracuda, Challenger and Javelin.
But I think it's fair to include 80's Chargers, Lasers, Daytonas, Sebrings , Avengers and Fox based Mercury Capri's.
As far as GLH's go...I LOVE THEM! I used to have an '84 GLH. I've been looking for a GLH Turbo lately...that isn't too trashed.
Great pocket rockets. I wouldn't call them Pony Cars though.
3. The last Plymouth Barracuda: They rusted out like crazy (especially the fenders) and they were a bit large to be performance cars, but at least they still had big blocks and carried tripower till 1973, long after everyone else cashed out on these.

oops-didn't get the quote right
"Tripower" is a GM only term-- Chrysler's Dodge division used the term "six-pak"--Plymouth called it simply "six-barrel"
This 3X2 carburetor configuration was discontinued on all Chrysler vehicles after the 1971 model year.
Thanks.

Forget the Cuda'
1974 Pontiac Trans Am 455 SD was the last big block bad boy to ever be built. 13's in the 1/4 mile (maybe low 14's) made it the fastest car made in NA until the 87 Grand National.\
I love 1974 Firebirds

91-92 Z28
Late 80s GTA, pinnacle being the 89 TTA
96-97 Trans Am WS6
87-93 GT's and the pinnacle was the 93 Cobra. (LX's are just wrong)
00 Cobra R
98-02 Camaro SS
98-02 Trans Am WS6
03 Cobra
That'd be my list
*edit* I suck at spelling and car years!

I am not surprised...most people do like the 70-73s.
The 74 is stilll pretty unique though. The window was still flat, the grill has the verticle stats and the nose/facsia is only shared with the 75.
Good to see another SD fan. I did see a 73 SD TA in Alberta at a car show. Only one I have ever seen in my life.
