What mods are you currently dreaming of for your 5th Gen?
What mods are you currently dreaming of for your 5th Gen?
Ok, we are pretty sure that the Camaro is coming out sooner or later (hopefully sooner), was curious what mods people are thinking up for their car? My list is as follows:
Rear End: Either Moser 12 bolt 3.73 or if IRS new BMR stubs and axles, 3.5" chrome moly drive shaft.
Engine: SLP 402 low compression aluminum block, AFR225 heads, LT's and cat back. possibly new intake, ls6 style? After engine is done, either ATI procharger or Kenne Bell if engine fiewall alllows twin screw.
Suspension: SFR's, 1" lowering springs, Z/06 style rims.
Body: Cowl induction hood, possibly ground effects, depending on how the car looks.
I figure the mods will be done about the time the loan is paid off.

Re: What mods are you currently dreaming of for your 5th Gen?
Mine will be pretty simple...red, navy blue or orange 5.3 base coupe with t-tops and a 6 speed manual. Mods? SLP exhaust and American Racing Torq Thrust IIs...that should be all it needs to keep me happy
Re: What mods are you currently dreaming of for your 5th Gen?
I'm thinking generic at first; intake, new exhaust, performance cat. Nothing fancy until I can get used to the car.
...And til I can scrape up the cash for extensive stuff.

1.electric cutout
2.headers
3.cam
4.rockers, rods and springs (light weight valve train, i want it to rap up quickly)
5.rear suspension work
6.computer tune
That will be good for about 475-500hp
But remember, I'm just dreaming.
