What if Zeta, as we know it......
What if Zeta, as we know it......
What if Zeta as we know it is dead in North America...for a number of reasons....
And although the NA cars that would have been based on Zeta get delayed....what if the new architecture they get is Sigma?

If it all comes full circle, and they go on Sigma, they just wasted how many YEARS?!
What are the "number of reasons" you speak of?
Wouldn't Zeta NOT being used in North America effect the cost of Zeta in other parts of the world in a negative fashion do to a drastic drop in production numbers lost on the dropped North American Zeta cars?

Why would they re-work a platform so fast (not that I am complaining about it)... trying to reduce manufacturing costs on the platform, I assume? If that is the case, though, you'd think it would have to be a SUBSTANTIAL cost savings to offset all the costs of R&D and tooling and such for the re-do.

I though Sigma was all about big $$$$
Wouldn't a Sigma Pontaic G8 (or what ever it may be called) basically be a CTSv for $20,000 less?
100% agree. I could have had a new Camaro in 2003 if that was the case

What if GM decided to pull a DCX here and use the old Sigma platform for the high volume cars while the new Sigma was Caddy exclusive?

Ok, I have also have some things for you to chew on.
What if "Zeta" is an evolution of "Sigma"?
What if GM is standardizing it's RWD platform for large & performance cars?
Isn't it curious that the new CTS debuts about the same time the "Zeta" is due in North America?
If Zeta can be lengthened or shortened, or even widened, isn't it curious that the new STS is a widened * lengthened CTS's "Sigma" chassis?
Isn't it curious that Holden has been using "Sigma" and NOT their "V" car as the starting point for Zeta development?
I'll shut up now before I get myself in trouble.
