What do you want the next "super" Corvette to be called?
Have they settled on the name yet? The one with the 6.2L supercharged V8 and 650 hp.
A recent snippet in one of my car magazines seems to suggest that they're going to call it the Corvette SS.
For this poll, vote for the one you'd like it to be.
I sorta like the Sting Ray name. But the whole Steve Irwin deal might kill that one, so to speak.

Wow, that's terrible. (don't think I'm offended though) I personally like Grand Sport. I think it's a great name for it. I also wouldn't mind seeing it in the blue/white paint scheme.

Corvette Z06 R sounds good. It's new age, not been done before... And it makes it sound like C5R/C6R which is the name of the road race cars...
Grand Sport was already used and the Grand Sport kicked ***.

Corvette SS- The SS name doesnt mean anything anymore, with them putting it on abominations like the Malibu SS and the Cobalt SS. Sure, they're nice cars in their own respects but in no way do they deserve the SS name
Corvette Z07- MTI has made a Z07 package for years, bad idea for GM to do it.
Corvette Z06 R - Maybe... We have a C5R and a C6R, Z06R might work.
Corvette Sting Ray- Doesn't have the lines
Corvette Blue Devil- GGGGAAAAAAYYYYY
Corvette Mako Shark - Also GGGAAAAAAYYYYYY
Corvette Grand Sport - Highly plausible, sounds good and they already had one with a decent performace heritage.
I vote for either Z06R or Grand Sport.
Corvette Z07- MTI has made a Z07 package for years, bad idea for GM to do it.
