What do we know about the C6?

The styling wasnt exactly drastically changed over the years and GM just continued to put Vette powerplants into it a year after the Vette got them. A ground up Camaro, like in 1982 which was scary successful, is the only way to go for a 5th gen.
I guess you could argue that the Mustang is selling well and its based off a 70s Fairmont platform, but it's been fitted with such things as IRS and the SN95 was a drastic styling change from the fox.

IMO it (F5) should be at least 400 H.P. (on the motor) so we don't have to hang our heads in shame. As for C6, C5 is so good not much beyond a new face is needed
Oh I like 4th gen styling a lot, too. But realistically if you take a 3rd gen, smooth out the fenders, round off the nose and rear you have a 4th gen. The Trans Am did deviate from the 3rd gen a little more, but a lot of people (myself not included) think its gaudy.
And after rereading that last post I made, I dont think that the FBody needs a whole new-for-itself platform and powertrain, just a totally ground up design for the body, hvac, etc...
