What cars other than the Camaro/Firebird, Mustang, and Civic/Integra have the best aftermarket support??

 

Nissan to some extent...

The worst would probably be anything Toyota since there is no aftermarket unless TRD is involved directly.

SRT-4 is also showing some life..

 

The Nissan V6 is getting popular since it appears to be a great engine and its in the 350Z, G35, Murano, FX, Altima and the upcoming 2006 M35 (v8 version is M45).

I think that the Subaru WRX, Mitsu Evo & previous generation AWD Eclipse, and the new Mini Cooper all have really good aftermarket support.

I also think the turbo PT Cruiser/Neon SRT-4 are doing pretty good as well since they both use virtually the same engine.

 

The Grand Prix GTP and all the supercharged 3.8 cars have a huge aftermarket . The faster GTP guys are moving on and ditching the factory blower with turbochargers . Even the N/A 3.8 has a pretty sizable aftermarket more so centered around the grand prix when it comes to model specific parts .

 

I think that's fair to say that any turbo/supercharged car can be said to have better "aftermarket." Even European turbodiesels are getting lots of uprated power options. The fastest Mercedes C-class "Sport Coupes" (stop laughing) have modified 5-cylinder turbodiesels direct from AMG. There's even a racing series for small turbo-diesel cars. Wierd.

The whole point is that you can void the warranty on your new turbo whatever and get alot more power for a few bucks.

True, but I was referring to new cars or ones built within the last 3 years or so, but you got to love classic Chevy's.

 

Eclipse, Impreza, Corvette, Supra, MR2, Focus, Jetta, GTI, etc, etc, etc....

Silverado, F-150, Dodge Ram oops.... not cars, but they own the aftermarket
