Well,well,well.....a cheap muscle truck from Chevy.

I guess if you live in Texas, Louisiana or Oklahoma, your Chevy dealer can supply you with a "poor man's" Silverado SS.

It's called B4V Silverado Performance Package.

Start with a Silverado 1500 2WD Extended Cab Standard Box. Then add the B4V Performance Package, which includes LQ9 high output 6.0, (345 hp, 380 ft/lbs), 4 speed HD auto trans, Z60 high performance suspension, 20" chrome wheels, 275/55/20" tires.

Also, B4V requires G80 posi, 3.73 axle, engine and trans cooler.

This package has been available since March 22. Don't have specific pricing.....but it's got to have an MSRP of waaay under $30K.

Anyone here have one of these....and how much was it?

Is that a 1500 truck with a 6.0!!! This is awesome! I want! This would probably weigh just about the same, or lighter then the L? I dont know about the 20's, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Id rather get a lowerd and a set of 17's. Under 30k! NICE! Man, they need to make it available across the US. You SOB southerners get all the good stuff first!!

Did alittle more research. Apparently, the B4V Performance Package costs about $1,800.

Extended Cab, Regular Box 1500----$24,890
3.73 gear---------------------------------------$50
Heavy duty rear locking diff----------------$295
Heavy duty cooling----------------------------$95
B4V Performance Package---------------$1,800

Total: $26,690. That's before rebates ($4,000) and dealer discounts.

ahahah so for a shade above 20, you have a car that will probably keep up with the L.

See, its not the stuff GM doesnt have that makes me mad...its the stuff the DO have, that they dont advertise.

I am definately going to consider this. The family is DYING for a truck right now, this would be absolutely freaking unrefusabley perfect

How much more is it for 4WD?

B4V? B4Z was the IROC-Z performance option.

Uhh, I wouldn't go that far. This package still goes on an extended cab truck. More weight, and the N/A 6.0 does not make as much power as the blown 5.4 but at least it's a much more sensible package than the $40,000 SS.

Anyone have pics? I'm thinking of getting a truck this fall, If I could get that truck for $25K or less I'd be all over it.

I heard of this truck a few months back being called the Texas Truck package. I can't find any info on it on the web.

Wow, never heard of this. Is this limited to those three states, or is this available nationwide?

Just those 3 states

Info is hard to find on this truck, but from info I got from SilveradoSS.com and kbb.com it looks like this package can be added to any 2wd ext cab Silvardo LS or LT (LS base = $25K) The B4V package is about $2300 bringing the total MSRP to aprox $28,000. With the $4000 loyalty rebate that brings the total to $24,000 And that is with the dealer selling it at MSRP, you should be able to get at least $1K-$2K more off.
