I just think this shoulda been out by now . With the gripe outa the way .....the car looks really good . I hope the front looks as good as it sounds . Its also nice to see the GXP GP did not have the bonnie 18's on it like ALL their GXP concept cars . Aaaaand , my opinion on the 2006 GP line up . Base less content with NA v6 priced at about 20K , make the SC 3.8 from the GTP standard in the GT , since I assume the GTP will go bye bye . Priced in the mid 20's . And the GXP should not sticker for one cent more than the current GTP comp G , which IMO ....not counting rebates is overpriced . I would really hope not to see a mid 30's priced front drive W body grand prix .

Maybe Pontiacs just look like crap and they oughtta make substantial change in a NEW or Olds direction. The Oldsmobile cars looked much better than Pontiacs IMO.

Who's whinin? I went in 2 years ago looked at 'em. Thought they looked like crap and went and bought a Chrysler.
Just giving my take on it. If people keep saying it looks too much like a Pontiac so-and-so, what they're REALLY saying is " Pontiac's current theme is not very appealing."
At least the Judge is step in the right direction.

this is definitely a step in the RIGHT direction for Pontiac style and design wise. the old GP and GA looked like crap and frankly i'm surprised their sales have held up as well as they have. the new GP is already doing well, and the G6 is likely to blow the old GA sales out of the water. the main thing thing driving these sales is the appeal of modern interiors and an overall cohesive design.

Chill, I never said anything about them screwing up, I just think they do all look very similar. Before I got into cars, I couldn't tell different Pontiacs from eachother, they ALL looked the same to me, and still kind of do. I love the new Grand Prix design...but to the average non-enthusiast, all of Pontiacs line-up DO look the same.I also look forward to a GXP GP and if I could afford it, a Bonneville GXP would be in my garage
But to non-enthusiast people, I can see where they'd get confused when they walk into a Pontiac showroom.

Well that's why there's different cars for different folks. If there's a crowd for the Pontiac "look" well then it looks fine.
I'm just clearing up semantics here. The people who complain that the new Pontiacs looks too much like the old Pontiacs, are REALLY saying they just don't like the Pontiac look. Pontiacs will continue to look like Pontiacs and if that look is crap in one's opinion, go ahead and cross Pontiac off your list for a good long time. And that's what I've done.
I DON'T LIKE the Pontiac look. I liked the Olds looks far better. Chrysler's Concorde and 300M cars were similar to the Olds looks, which is probably why I bought one.
