For some reason, I like the Holden Maloo R8 Ute a little better.

It's going to be weird seeing an El-Camino on the streets again..

Hopefully some of those colors don't make it on the boat ride.

ahh the ulitmate redneck mullet car returns!

All the looks of a trucks with the hauling/towing ability of a car.

Actually it looks pretty good, I just would never own one, because I can't see a use for it.

Car=people mover
Truck=tow haul 4wd
SUV=a combinaton of both
That thing=doesn't do any one thing good, wait so it's an SSR :P

How about 2 seat performance coupe w/ the largest trunk on the planet?

It does that better than anything else on the planet.

They could bring the Crewman over also. That way you could have a 2 door El Camino and a 4 door El Camino. I'd seriously consider the Crewman SS if it were here.

you mean like a ford lighting?

Anything big enough to require that space is going to be taller then 20 inches. So how do I close the top with that fridge I am trying to bring home?

Each his own and if someone wants it cool, but it is so useless.
It's like super mario brothers 2.
You could pick luigi and jump higher, toad and run faster, princess and float a long ways or mario and do nothing good.
Ute=mario

Some of the colors are just plain hideous.

And the vehicle itself is not much better. I am actually a fan of Elky's, but this thing does absolutely nothing for me, no matter what's under the hood.

Some things are just better left alone. Or Down Under.

You mean the ultra heavy handles like a truck (b/c it is) lightning? The Ute has IRS and can available 360 hp 6.0 V8 w/ 6 speed manual. It will likely out corner most sport sedans.

I don't know about you but every peice of plywood/sheetrock I have seen would fit under the cover in less than 20 inches, in low quantity. Also the top is optional on some models so if you wanted you COULD have an open top and haul that fridge home no problem.

Each his own and if someone wants it cool, but it is so useless.
Its only useless to you b/c you don't understand it. It has more 'truck ability' than most compact/midsize trucks. And they seem to sell ok. Not only that but the Ute handles like a sports car!
