I have seen at GMinsider news and some of the main stream rags that we are going to get a Turbo I5 In the colorado/ canyon. Will this be an SS truck? Whats the deal with this?

 

It's a possiblity with the performance movement at GM. The turbo 5 is very far in development and ready to be made. Matter of fact the Bel Air was based on the Colordo (why it sat so high) platform and had this same motor so it's pretty much bolt in. However being that the Colordo was just launched I would expect GM to wait 2-3 years for the newness to die off before they bring an SS version to market.

 

A 315 hp AWD Turbo I5 Colorado SSwouyld be awsome. If thgey could make the truck come in under 30k I think it would be a hit. Just make sure it's a regular cab / short box configuration.
