Wow a lucerne with a less ugly grill..... I don't like how the hood and grill kind of buldge up and out. Would have looked better with a sharper nose. Oh well looks a lot better than the current malibu.
I'm a little disappointed if this is the malibu that was "awesome, knock my socks off"

It's nice looking and should sell, but like the attractive Pontiac G6 it's design will get lost with other similar 'nice' styled cars in 2008.
From what I see, there's nothing wrong with the cars styling, but that might be exactly what Chevy needs in a sedan right now.

I think too many people HERE want a Malibu with a mean looking front end like a Camaro and Trans-Am.
This car is going to replace the Impala (fwir) and be the big "Volume" seller. All you have to do is look at the Competition to see what it's up against. This market is about not doing anything crazy and having a nice looking car with clean lines.
I think the exterior looks great (looking at it from a utility Sedan perspective).
Like mentioned above what WILL sell this car is a nice interior, reliability, and price. And the way things look hopefully they got it nailed.
Now throw this front end on a Camaro and yea, I'd be pissed too.

I'm much more upbeat about it based on that pic than I was based on the red teaser shot.

Not too bad, a huge improvement over the current generation Malibu, then you add the interior shots we got a couple of months ago, its going to be a nice pkg. Sadly I will miss the Maxx not getting redesigned for the next Malibu, I think they could have really pulled something special off with this styling, and the quality of materials that are going into it.

Uh...we've seen tons of drawings by guys...and they turn out 90% of the time to look nothing like the production version. I remember alot of claimed Camaro pics that looked nothing like it. So we have no reason to of given this guy credit.

LEt me say this: I've seen the car in person..........and love it.
Then I saw the red picture today -- and said to myself...."man......we need to get another photographer 'cause that's a horrible picture........"
I think you should withhold judgement until you see it in person..............NAIAS is first show..........

Scott, it has been said to death that GM stock photographs are some of the worst in the industry. C&G actually had a contest about the worst GM photography. Replace everyone in that department they suck!
