There's another problem. People who go to politics exhibit traits closer resembling sociopaths.* While "good" people are not necessarily interested in politics, or let those with higher ambitions beat them to the top.

* I'm not calling politicians sociopaths. But qualities such as lying, cheating, stabbing someone in their back, and doing anything to get where you want to be while breaking moral code are some traits that are rewarded and push those who exhibit them to the top where they hold meaningful power, while those who are honest/good are left behind in meaningless posts.

I've read quite a few times in this forum that Toyota has set priority for their repair parts to their factories and is starving warranty/recall customers of these parts as a result. Can anyone provide me with a link? I'd like to show this to a couple people but don't want to just repeat hearsay.

Down plants costs Toyota millions per day so it's hardly unexpected that they'd take this route.
