Town Car replaced with Five Hundred spinoff?
Not exactly an option that warms the heart.

Article also seems to rule out the next Falcon for any future Fords. The guy giving the interview, Paul Mascarenas, is Ford's executive director for medium and large front-drive and all-wheel-drive platforms.
I don't know if the guy's pushing his own department, or if he's actually tipping Ford's actual hand, but Ford needs to keep this guy in check if Ford doesn't want to end up as an "also ran" auto company.

Oh boy...
I don't think this sounds too good, but I'll bet the livery cab drivers will really be ticked if they change the Town Car into a luxury Taurus.

Caddy is going RWD and Lincoln is going FWD
I guess they will just have to start buying the STS.

Keep in mind.... the two types of buyers for lincolns... fleet vehicles and old people.
they dont give a rat's behind if their vehicle is front or rear wheel drive... in fact, old people and others would go with AWD option. Lincolns are not sports cars, they are luxury cars.... and for those that do want something, they will go with AWD.
