If for no other reason than increasing my post count and just being contrary in general, the CTS looks like ***. I really don't like any of the current Cadillacs. Not only do I agree that should be on that list, it should be at or near the top. I will apologize in advance to all the CTS leghumpers.

Yeah, I know, I guess I don't hold a popular view here, but everyone I've ever shown those cars to, thinks they're ugly as well. These are 90% non-car people too, so take that however you want. I just post so that others who feel the same way won't fee alone.

Sounds like the Avalanche is not one of the most admireable vehicles. I am kinda surprised not to see the Sierra on the list since it is baically the same vehicle. Though in another sense I can see why someone would want to put the Avalanche on the ugly list, the plastic molding makes it look cheap. Though they are not making it an option to have the plastic molding.

I am looking for a new vehicle and it will definitely be a truck but I am also sticking with Gm so I will either go for the Sierra or Avalanche myself.

The h2 I can see as well it is an aquired taste so to speak. I like the CTS except for the grill.

Are the H2 and CTS on the list because they are finally car designs that donīt look like anything else on the road ??? Just because they do so they should not be rated as ugly. For me the CTS is one of the most beautiful new cars since a long time. And when you are living in Germany you have to live with french and italian cars. My ugly top ten list would contain at least 6 of them...(Italians do not only have Ferrari and Maserati)

Sometimes there's a reason why someone hasn't done it before, or at least not in recent memory.

I think everyone will agree that the H2 isn't exactly pretty. From the marketing standpoint, this a great design with massive appeal in the North American market. In absolute terms, the H2 is a ponderous and crude design. Ugly? Yeah, but that was the point.

On the other hand, the CTS looks like the box a 3-series BMW might have been shipped in. Between the unpleasant interior and slabsided exterior, it just plain horrible. I could easily live with the dated anonymity of a Seville SLS, a car which borders on being an acceptable value after the rebates and dealer discounts. However, the CTS is just beyond the acceptable standards of luxury car design.
