TOP GEAR reviews C6

I always seem to find these quite funny, but I really hate the British.

They need to pick up a book and read why the Corvette has transverse monoleaf springs.

Re: TOP GEAR reviews C6

god forbid someone said anything bad about a corvette. just because it is gm's best car, doesnt mean it is the best car out of all the car companies... they gave it credit where credit is due.

It wasn't just that they said idiotic things about the Vette's suspension, but how exactly did the NSX smoke the Vette so badly in the quarter mile? Edmunds says:

"The 3.2-liter V6 engine makes 290 horsepower and 224 pound-feet of torque. It's coupled to a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic is also available, but equipping the car as such mandates a smaller 3.0-liter V6 and drops the horsepower rating down to 252. With the six-speed, the NSX can accelerate to 60 mph in about five seconds and has a top speed of 175 mph."

Is there Eurospec NSuX with more ponies? The NSX was some bad mamba jamba back in it's day, but it is outdated now. The 2004 is just a rehash of the 1997+.

Edmunds had this to say:

"the 2004 NSX is essentially the same as the one offered to exotic-car buyers back when the last Bush was president....

But overall, we don't see much of a reason to purchase a new NSX. For the same money, there are simply better choices, from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to the Porsche 911 4S. And really, if you desire an NSX, buying a '97-up car will satisfy just as much and save you thousands in the process."

I mean I'm ok with them liking the other cars more than the Vette, I'm ok with them thinking the interior is cheap looking and not liking the dent resistant panels. But some of the stuff they said was just lame.

The zo6 is about 30 grand cheaper then a NSX. The interior is vastly improved. Everyone that has seen it has commented on this. It may be cheap next to high end bentlys and aston's but not for a sports car. Has anyone actually seen them review an American car that they really liked?
