Today I saw the ultimate...

First, what would normally be cool enough to see alone, today i saw the new Cadillac XLR for the first time and it looked really good.

But this is nothing to what i saw about an hour later in the day - - thats right, the ultimate car that anyone can buy right now - the Ferrari Enzo. This is the single coolest thing I have ever seen when it comes to cars. A red Ferrari Enzo with some old dude just cruising around - - simply amazing.

Holy sh*t I could die and feel satisfied if I saw those 2 cars in the same day on the street.

I saw an XLR about 2 weeks ago on 35 over here, man I have Eibach Sportlines on my car and it still looked like a 4x4 next to it.

Our friendly neighborhood Ferrari dealership has a red enzo at the front window here in La Jolla. Whenever I go into downtown La Jolla to friend's places near the beach, I always see it. It looks like ***.

(This might mean more to you guionM):
It's really weird living in La Jolla. Benz SL500's, Ferrari's, Bentley's, Porsche Turbo's, and Lexuc SC430's seem about as common here as an Accord. I really never get excited when I see cars like that anymore. It's really weird going to college just north of the Beverly Hills of San Diego.

Ya my grandfather lives in La Jolla and i go down there often, im probly gonna go down on saturday for the night. The cars there are simply stunning. Last weekend, i was about 20 new AMG's alone in 2 days no where near a benz dealership, not to mention the normal ferraris, etc i see down there. but on the way back i saw a Maybach Beautiful car.

Just another day in the northern Detroit suburbs! Actually I've only seen one Enzo, but lots of XLR's. Saw a yellow Lambo Murcielago the other day too.

The Enzo is an eyesore.

And brake rotors that cost as much as a Camaro? No, thanks. Exotics are for posing, not for actually using as a go-fast car.

I saw the Enzo (and XLR) up at NAIAS this year. The Enzo and Lambo Murcielago Roadster concept were the two most draw-dropping cars at the show. The Enzo really is a beautiful car. The lines aren't that of a 360 Modena, but I still think it is eye-catching and attractive.

I guess styling is always subjective--and the XLR looked very good as well--but it's not everyday you see such a rare super-exotic. Oh yeah, the Sixteen and Cien (the Cadillac equivalent) was pretty impressive the year before!

I saw the Lambo Murcielago, Ferrari Enzo and the XLR at the Dallas auto show this year. While I didn’t think the Enzo was ugly and performance aside I would pick th Lambo over all three. Styling wise its just amazing. The XLR would be my next choice. Funny how out of three cars the best performing and expensive is my last choice.

I'd take the Enzo in a heartbeat over the XLR if they were both offered to me for free with free maintinance. I'm surprised to hear so many guys excited over the XLR and saying the Enzo looks like crap. A little GM bias in here or is it just me?

The XLR looks nice but I still don't understand why they didn't just put the LS6 or LS2 in there?
