Re: Tiptronic C6!!!

That does have the new steering wheel to though, and it was posted on a vette board that it had been spotted.. So it may very well be the real deal from gm.

Re: Tiptronic C6!!!

The shifter itself is also set up for the shifting, so I doubt that this is just some random aftermarket set up. Looks way to clean.

That steering wheel does not even have a part # yet to order . The vette is already as fact getting a 6 speed auto to replace the 4 speed , and the 6 speed auto's pcm tables have been tuned for manual control . Paddle shifters are so common , why would the vette not have them .

The 4L65e trans was just a make do till the 6 was ready

Here's the official link
http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/foru...addle+shifters

The way it wraps around the steering wheel, it looks like it can either be pushed forward or backward, depending on how you want to shift it. It would be cool to push the paddles towards you to shift instead of pushing the little button with your thumb.

ya i wish they would actually be paddles instead of buttons. shifting while turning would be easier i would thing if all u have to do is go to a paddle 2-3 inches tall that stays in one spot than aim for a button on the steering wheel. But very cool anyways

Re: Tiptronic C6!!!

Sweet!!!!!!!!!! I want that in my next Camaro.

19 stop lights on my way to work. I love to shift, but that work drive kills my clutch foot.

Correct. You upshift with the top buttons, you downshift with your middle fingers on the BACK of the steering wheel. Reference pic#1
