Are you asking if it should say "Super Sport" on the cars instead of "SS"?

Hrm....that is a cool idea. I can see it all writen out in that block lettering down the side of the door. But I think just a simple SS badge does enough.

Re: Is it time for SS to become.....

I don't know, maybe I'm getting into SS burnout. Most people don't even know what those initials even mean anymore.

Maybe it would be good to re-link SS with the Super Sport name. Otherwise it just sort of blends into the initials landscape like LT, LS, LMNOP.

Maybe having Super Sport appear in script letters on a fender or deck lid or a glove box door, would be a good thing in reinforcing what "SS" stands for.

I'm with z284ever on this one, no one knows what SS means anymore.

Putting the whole super sport is like trying to let everybody know what it is. I like it the way it is. So that only people who really know about cars understand what SS is.

Re: Is it time for SS to become.....

^^also a good point, but I think it would be good to have it somewhere on the interior or somewhere in the back right in smaller letters, like where the Z28 goes in maros.

Why even have any badges then? Those who know, don't need them.

I think it'd be a little chessey, especially with today's styling, to spell that out down the side of a car, or across the decklid or whereever.

If people are not recognizing what "SS" stands for, then take care of it in marketing with television/print/internet/whatever advertising.

all the way down the side of the car IS gay.... but maybe about 9 or 10 inches long at the bottom of the door... i dont think its that bad. and if they used "super sport" only for the maro and everything else still said SS.... i think it would establish a little bit of separation between reall SS and marketing schemes

Re: Is it time for SS to become.....

I'd have no problem with SS on the doors/fenders and "Super Sport" on the trunk

Re: Is it time for SS to become.....

It wouldn't be horrible. I could see it being used sort of how Grand Am GT went down the side of the car.
But can you imagine "Super Sport Supercharged" written all the way down the side of the Cobalt?
