I was the big guy with glasses that looked jet lagged and they kept putting in the 19 car because of my... erm... gravitational challenges.
OK, OK... I'm not THAT fat. (6'3", 265 lbs.)
I was driving the black SS of death.
The one without an exhaust system.
The one without an exhaust system that is going in for MAJOR surgery as we speak.
Stage 2 LS6 heads (instead of the Stage 2 Katechs).
OHMYGOD BIG cam (238/242, .598 lift, 112 LSA)
Yella Terra rockers.
New syncronizers and shift forks.
We're going to lay the smack down to the tune of +475 rwhp this time.... and then I'm going to spray the snot out of it.

Yeah, I am as intimidated as hell by Scott's pinking shears...now that I at least know what they are. My mouth is shut

Thanks Scott for clearing that one up for me

Personally, the highlight of the whole weekend for me was breakfast...god knows it sure as hell was NOT the ride home. Between traffic in OH and whacking a UGO (unidentified grounded object) on I-90 around 3 AM, getting home at 6:15 this morning was a blessing.
If there is news in the NY area that there is a flattened grand piano on I-90 that was runover by a runaway Z28, I, uh, swear I wasn't there...
I don't know what the hell it was, but I wasn't going back to see, and the car is thankfully fine.A long adventure for sure, but you can bet I will be there next year, without question....and thanks to Doug, I now have an awesome t-shirt to add to my collection.

And to the guy who paid $85 for my 30th t-shirt??? Grrrrr...

Dear Ohio and Kentucky Drivers,
First of all, though I appreciate folks who are law-abiding citizens and such, we all need to come to the realization that speed limits are not as cut and dried as they used to be. Particularly their application while tooling along in the fast lane.
Given the fact that your (lame...) legislatures have yet to realize that 65mph is laughable as a top speed for an interstate (ESPECIALLY one I helped fund...), your neighbors from the north (us Michigan folks - to whom speed limits are a rather amorphous concept in the first place) are hereby making some constructive suggestions:
1) If you aren't travelling 10mph over the speed limit, GET THE LIVING HELL OUT OF THE FAST LANE. The ONLY EXCEPTION being to QUICKLY pass slower traffic. "Quickly" means that I DON'T EVER have to hit my brakes because of your dead a$$.
2) While being nice to trucks is admirable, DO NOT LET THEM OUT TO PASS ANOTHER TRUCK ON A HILL, ESPECIALLY when I'm behind you - already fuming about having to slow down for you in the first place.
3) You can actually merge at the speed limit. Matter of fact, it's generally a good idea to do so.
4) Turn signal indicators ARE NOT continuous duty systems. Shut them off occasionally.
5) REAL STATES (even relatively flat ones like Michigan) provide a PASSING LANE on hills beyond the two normally seen to allow faster traffic to get around your molassas-like carcasses. We'll send you a drawing if you'd like.
I honestly can't believe you primitive screwheads are allowed paved roads.
Sincerely,
Residents of the State of Michigan
