I'd say I'm a slash guy. But I sure could live with a Z06 style emblem too. Basically I'd like a cool, snazzy badge. Pretty much the opposite of that pathetic 4th gen badge. Anyone else ever think that it came out of a Revell plastic model kit box?

 

We've seen so many 5th Gen concepts, I'd like to see some amateur artist renditions of a 5th Gen Camaro ribbon or other badging.

 

Perhaps...but I tend to be one of those odd types who's always looking forward....

 

I just want them to build the damn thing... and soon!

 

The gazelle and Impala script are gone from the 06 Impala. Sad, really.

The Camaro "ribbon" would probably be a part of the fifth gen - it's a symbol that's recognized as much as the gazelle was.

The "CAMARO" name script , on the other hand, hadn't changed much since the introduction of the third gen, but I think it will be revised for the fifth gen, and hopefully not in the current block format that Chevy uses for the Impala and Cobalt. Blech. Something along the lines of the Corvette font would be more palatable.

 

Well put. Let the badge design be whatever it may be, just as long as it says Camaro.

I think you're on the right track if you kept the 'ribbon' on top of bottom.

Maybe add some movement with ripples or something, or something, I'm not realy good with logos and such.

Count me in for the "slash" and the ribbon. I really like the look of the "slash". If it's going to be a "heritage" vehicle, why not have a heritage emblem?

Beyond that, and I'm sure I'll get some grief for this, I would like to see an embossed emblem. At least on the fenders. I'm not really a fan of a "badge" as it's only a more pompus version of the sticker. Personally, I'd like to see embossing ala the Impala SS of '95-'96, just not as large. Put it right on the door trim, or on the fenders in front of the doors.

This will have the added benefit of making it harder for posers to make a "Z28" or "SS" out of a V6.
