I would think so...

I originally thought of Equinox as a super huge improvement/replacement for Tracker... but I think it is more of a replacement for (S-series) Blazer than TrailBlazer was, and Trailblazer kind of went to a new (mid-sized) market.

I think that would be a solid replacement for Tracker hardtop... hey, if there's one thing you can't have too many of in your line up right now.... it's SUV's.

Don't we already have enough SUV's, both small and large and in between, to choose from in the U.S.?

The market screams an emphatic "NO!"... it seems that every SUV that comes out sells well...

I see your point, but really... hard to argue against the SUV sales numbers.

the back lights remind me of corvette conversions people have done on trucks
they remove their old ones and paint it like the rest of the car then have working corvette ones on the bumper
and the front looks like a rebadged honda crv, little older stle crv

Don't forget the HHR. It would cover the entry level mini suv/wagon niche. Does anyone know if AWD will be avalible for the HHR? Does delta allow it?

Hey, did you realize that if you get a low optioned Silverado 2500 and added that Lingenfelter package, you'd have a truck that's barely more expensive (if that) than the Silverado SS?

Imports have this size of SUV all wrapped up at this time. Lets face it, they have been making similar products for a long time and the introduction of this vehicle could not come at a worst time. It is merely a band wagon vehicle now and would only help to take sales from the buyer who is thinking about buying out of country. Sorry, I think if this little SUV was 5 years sooner, it might have a chance. An introduction in todays economy would result in nothing more than Aztec sales numbers or Buick Rendezvous (two real winners)

Just my 2 cents again, Charlie

Late? Maybe... but not if you consider it to be a Tracker hardtop decendant... which was probably one of the pioneers of this segment.

If it "would only help to take sales from the buyer who is thinking about buying out of country" , I think GM would be giddy with excitment, because, well... that's kind of the point, isn't it? To take sales away from competitors for yourself?

As for the Aztek... ya, not good... but Rendezvous is actually selling pretty well...
