What's not to get? a NEW CAMARO with an engine that performs like the old one. Are you sure it's goin to get better gas mileage? I just wanted it to come out with a little more bang than that.

Buick & Cadillac also have coupes on the way, but I don't think they'll be built at the same place as these 3.

As far as the entire engine line up, the 5.3 will likely be the middle engine, so in that light, yes.
However, the 6.2 will be for "special" models. Think the 4th gen Camaro SS, and you will have an idea what type of cars will have the top engine.
As for a $23-25,000 LS2 Camaro, you can forget about it. At that price, you'll get the 5.3 if you're lucky (which will be slightly quicker than LS1s if the info is correct). Expect 6.2s to be around the $30,000 marker.

I take Guion's statement to refer to LT4 4th Gens. In other words, the 5.3L is it, except for special edition ones.
Re: style question about 5th gen Camaro
as i read in a magazine article the ls2 will be in the top model ss its not gonna be a rare option just an expensive one it is right they do say the top model ss is going to be around 30,000 which i wont mind paying in a few years... i hope they are going to have it out for 40th anniversy edition that would be tight as hell to have a 5th gen like the 35th ann... paint scheme and interior two tone..
now as far as retro go i hope there is just ques because if you do a competly retro car it doesnt last too long before its old...like the ford thunderbird...pt cruiser, ssr eeewww... that car can die and go to hell ,
