That's it! I'm tired of all these flip flop designs and let me restyle this Grand Am and call it a GTO marketing skeems of GM! THier design team is the worse! Haven't seen such ugly cars since the Saab. I'm tired of GM digging up old names and laying new graves for them. The cars they're building look horrible. When will they start making cars people actually like? Why did they kill the F-bodies off instead of fixing the problems and complaints people had about them? Why manufacturer a car nobody liked the look of (GTO) who cares how fast it is it's ugly. If a Saab had 900hp would you still drive it if it looked like an overturned bathtub? What ever happend to Design? What ever happend to the Broad Hips and Stream linning of the 69's Z28's and SS's? WHat ever happend to the Stocky but bold look of the GTO? What the heck happend to the Malibu? What are these jokes thier creating? Z24 cavaliar, Vibe GT? What happend to muscle cars? Better yet what happend to GM?

 

Maybe they do make cars that people like, if you don't like a car it doesn't mean other people don't like it. maybe you should rephraes the question so it says 'When will they start making cars I actually like?'

Poor management, beancounters, and cars built so even stupid people could use them. Which insulted the half smart and above people, who make the most $$$$. + lots of other stuff the US people can explain better than an aussie.

First of all the GTO is NOT the Grand AM lol GOD its an Auzzy car. called the HOLDEN

I happen to like the GTO, The Chevy trucks the Corvette & several other cars the GM makes.

When they are having people asking for these cars & these names to come back.

Contract issues with the plant. The Design is 11yrs old & needed to be updated. & The old Person in charge of GM hated the Fbody.

There are lots of people who like the design of the GTO you may not be one of them but there are many who cant wait to own a car like that

The Malibu is still there They just changed it to a more fuctional design
GM over all is trying to bring in the younger generation of car drivers. (those 16-25) Them like the other car company have to make cars that this generation are willing to buy & drive. Not only that but also maintain safety regulations.

And for the most parts the #1 thing that killed the F-bodies off was appearance. Appearance it what sells cars not performance. DOn't belive me...look at they mustang...they've been doing it for years.

6.0+ Liter V8's-In what are they going to put it into with no Muscle cars around? A Vibe?

Corvettes with over 600HP- Yeah and three times the price tag too.

2007 Camaro-Trash project destroy it. Every design so far looks horrible except for the one that kid frew up in his computer class.

Solstice-Is that a new herbal hair product?

CTS-V- yeah I like but 54K seems Viagra has done more than raise a few flag polls.

OK...So, how would you define muscle car?

What the heck are you driving now? The best performing GTO ever isn't good enough for you? The fastest Vette's ever? You just don't like the looks? That's subjective....go get yourself a 30 year old car then and don't be surprised when every one of those GTO's is sold.

 

I'm not fond of the GTO looks, and I sure would like to see a version that came in about 400 lbs lighter - but I do indeed like the concept. If I were in the market for a "family car", this one would be first on my list.

They did not kill of the Camaro at all They put it in Hyadis they stop production on the car due to the fact of Contract issues. Thats from GM Bob Lutz

What you want two seaters?

you pay for what you are getting Cars dont come cheap anymore unless they are garbage. the cars like the Geo Metro were made for one thing cheap transportation for those that cant afford a good car. Great for College, single people. the Corvette is a SPORTs car if you want a sporty type car then go with the M&M (Mazda Mida (sp?))

those designs you been seeing have been Concept Ideas NOT the true car. RETRO is NOT what the Camaro is going to be looking like



Then I must be OLD. Because most of the people I know that drive these cars are in their mid to late 30s. Maybe even in their 40s. Most of your elderly (you couldnt even spell that right) drive Cadies.
