SSR accident in Hell Michigan?

Go to the above link to see several shots of the red one if you wish. I am in love with this machine!!! Crash or no crash. If you want one, expect to wait one to two years on the list. I put a deposit down this summer and based on the limited first year production would guess that every other dealer for chevy will get one for 2003. In the fall of 2003, the 2004 models should dribble in, but still at a very slow pace. It may not haul *** but it will definately haul my art work in style.

Actually at the past two Camarofests, 2001, 2002. We had a roadrally to hell. Its pretty popular because of that name. I know that they were going to have a Viper club have a road rally there as well a few weeks later.
The even have a University named Damn, so you can go to Damn U.

The two independent co-workers, were sure they were red SSR's. they both saw them at the Busch's grocery store in Pinckney, Mi. Both guys are pretty into cars, with the one even having a souped up S10, so he woudl be in the know on the SSR's. If I had had the whole story soon enough, I would have been down there with a camera. But, I heard about the accident first, with no mention of it being two SSR's until two house later. by then the area woudl have been cleaned up. Maybe I will have to ask around a bit more on the police force or something.
I can't believe you guys are so impressed there is really a city named Hell in Michigan. LOL. In fact, I think Good Morning America broadcast from there this Halloween morning.
I wonder if there will ever be any official confirmation of this accident.
I do agree that it sounds like a test drive, or even more likely, a magazine set up.

Crash?
Man, this sounds like an unplanned crash test. I would be curious if the fact that these SSR's are made of ALL STEEL BODY PARTS AND NO PLASTIC has anything to do with the severity of the accident. I would have thought that an all steel body construction would be safer than these newer plastic self destructive models out now. Guess I was wrong.
