Impressive observation, Cheston!

This new Honda sedan is going to end up looking much like the Prius if the wind tunnel has its say. If you "fix" certain dimensions to be similar to those of the Prius, and if we assume that the Prius is about as slippery as possible for a tall four-door sedan, then the Honda will like like a Prius.

Honda Fit, which the new Insight is based on also uses 4 lugs.

For 20k dollars vs 40k for the Volt I have a feeling the Insight can look at ugly as it wants to... it'll still sell well next to the Volt.

That's funny. Honda has subscribed to Soviet engineering practices!

What's up with the round all the way around with a square *** look, didn't they learn from the Pontiac Aztek that's a no-no?

It may look ugly, but it apparently works in the wind tunnel. I wouldn't be surprised if the Aztek has superior aerodynamics compared to other similarly-sized CUVs. Now, aerodynamics didn't sell cars in the past 10 years, but I'm thinking that times have changed.

Don't you guys know that the people who disguise cars deliberately obscure the badges with cardboard under the covers, intending to cause exactly the sort of misinterpretations you guys are having?

I don't need any badges to tell me that car is ugly.

That thing could get 100/MPG and do the dishes for me and I still wouldn't want it.

Fine; I wasn't addressing you, since you weren't among those making conclusions based on the shape of the badge bulge.

That thing will sell like hot cakes regardless of looks if it stays under $20,000 and gets excellent gas mileage.
