If they can sell it starting at $19,995 like they say they will then sales should be very good.

Honda??? It's a dead ringer for a next gen Toyota Prius.
Are we sure it's not a misprint? Last I saw, Toyota had an "oval" shaped badge while honda's was "squarish".
That's certainly an oval badge under that black tape.

Definetely looks that way, but the badge on the back looks a lot more squarish.
If the milage is comparable to the Prius at that pricepoint, with gas prices as they are. They will not be able to make these things fast enough.
It says 2010. Is that MY or CY?
If that thing comes out in 6 months or so. I maybe very tempted. I really need something to replace my old mercury.
If only the Cruze would be here as quick.

there is definitely a Honda Civic Hybrid in front of it with it's badge also taped over, however the Toyota Prius behind them doesn't have the badge covered.
Another thing worth looking at are the lugnuts. The Prius and Civic both have 5 lug wheels. The Insight uses 4 lug wheels (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...kedinsight.jpg)

Insight is based on the Fit, so it will probably get a 50mpg hwy rating since the Civic with the same hybrid system/engine gets 45mpg. I'm sure this car will get some improvements over the Civic hybrid since it is Honda's flagship for efficiency.
