Lude had a larger 2.2 and this is a 2.0. 200hp out of a N/A 2.0L is not bad at all.

They also have to reserve the hotter motor for the RSX. I'm guessing the RSX's 2.0 will get something around or north of 220hp.

In the end, it's a N/A 2.0. The figures are still impressive.

its not too bad, ill wait till i see and drive one to make a call tho. on a side note, its less boring than any base model (non SS) camaro made from 93 on. they didnt really have much in the way of body lines or anything. just a wedge. wow, how inspiring.

Looks terrible! The only saving grace is that little spoiler. Other than that, I think my grandma would like the styling. This is a performance Honda? Yikes! I guess it's good for GM, since, at least these pictures, make the car look pretty nasty.

Will Honda ever get a clue and offer a factory turbo or V8? Lets hope they stay asleep at the wheel.

I don't see them doing a V8 car anytime soon. The reason import guys like them is trying to beat the big V8 guys with their little 4 bangers (atleast from what I've found most of the time.)

It's positively amazing how you guys will look at a GM product that is certainly no more inspiring in terms of its interior and exterior lines and at WORST say "eh, not bad" or say "hey, pretty nice"... but Honda comes out with something and based on the comments alone I see you guys writing I would think you were talking about something far far worse.

The civic is intended to be a fairly conservative compact economy car. You guys bash rice but yet you bash the civic for not looking like some sort of supermodel car? It's definitely an improvement over the old one and it positively looks better than the Cobalt or Neon.

I don't know how you say it looking better then the Cobalt or Neon. That car looks like a rehashed Accord. The styling is horrible and brings pride to anyone who thinks the 300 is bad.

The car looks pretty terrible to me. Much worse then the current one, which I think looks pretty sharp for a small car. The last picture of the 4-door reminds me of an Echo for some reason. Small wheels and a disproportionately huge body.

I don't know what you are seeing, but to me this is the worst looking small car on the market, except maybe for the Kia.

Also, according to the dictionary, two alternate spellings are also acceptable:

T-O-Y-O-T-A
L-E-X-U-S

Honda's sales are dipping. They are trying to sell off of their reputation alone. Bland cars will not sell on reputation of quality alone it seems. Personally, I think Honda has some o the most bland cars out there. Walking into a dealer last month not one car they sold I even considered other than the Pilot.

While Toyota is bland, they have better looking cars in my opinion than Honda. And they also have the 4-Runner, and trucks to cater to a larger crowd. They have more vehicles to offer than Honda. The Ridgeline did just come out, but Honda is behind in the game in comparison to Toyota with the only exception of quality.
