Ehh, I'm not feeling it. Looks kinda plain-Jane. Honda really could use a winner of a new Si, the last generation model was an absolute disaster, even the die-hard Honda kids hated them.

 

Looks like a giant improvement to me. 200hp should get it moving decently, too.

I'd be more interested to see the new RSX-S, though.

Why would they come out with only 200hp??? Come on in '93 the vtec prelude had 190hp in the H22a. Is this just a Honda version RSX type S?

What do you need more than 200 HP for? Ecotec has 140, then 170, and only SS gets 230 supercharged. This is no competitor to SRT4 or SS.

Looks nice, but if Honda wants to compete with the SRT-4 or Cobalt SS, they better bring more hp to the table.

At least they put that poor old hatchback Si out of its misery.

 

Amen to that. My cousin has an 01 or 02 SI and he said he absolutely hated the hatchback ones.

Looks sort of Acura TL-like. Not bad, but not really exciting.
On a side note, how many damn generations will they have for Civics?
8th in a few years? Sh...Camaro has only had 4 and went for 35 years..

Looks like an Accord, the sedan looks like a Saturn. I liked the SiR coupes.
