I agree with the post above. Doesn't that carpeting get nasty and smell like crap after a few soakings? Mold takes on a whole new meaning after just a few months...

We've only had it a couple months so it hasnt seen any rain yet. but so far its really clean

Couldn't you get the same effect with a sandwiched wheelwell?

Double sheet of plastic with sound adsorber in between?
