Some Holden Pictures

Was going through these. Not quite as exciting as Ford.

Couple of things you had a VX in there, the old style interior and the new interior looked like it came of the base model VY. Though I agree the new BA Ford interior is nicer.

I wonder if I'm one of the few who think the Aussie styles should come to North America? They look a lot better than most of the models we have here.

This style did come to North America. It is known as Cadillac Catera.

I must admit that this design is getting old. When is the new redesigned model supposed to be released? 2004? 2005?

Come on... the Ute SS is frickin' cool! You know Elky fans would gobble them up if they ever came to the States.

Holden styling does nothing for me... so bland.... they almost look like oversized Hyundais or something... just my opinion, though.

Their logo is cool though!

Actually, that's a German style that went to Australia & the US at the same time!

Next Commodore: late 2005 calander year. A few months before our 2007 model year.

All those Holden cars look like Opels from the mid 90s. The only thing GM should care about is the interiors and drive layout (RWD, IRS and V8).

Thats the hood the 04 GTO should have. And right out of the factory, not by SLP.

scoops and dual outlets out the back... in my opinion look good, but aren't that big of a deal, especially when they are cosmetic only.

but since so many feel so strongly , the least GM could do to ensure the success of this car is to please the fans..

Exactly. But it is a big deal to us since EVERY GTO ever made came with hood scoops and dual outlet exhaust. I don't know why B.L. is making less than spectacular cars, we've had enough of that and he was supposed to change it all. Why can't they just get things right??

Me living in australia, i rarely see f-bodies, yesterday to my surprise i see a 4 gen trans-am parked on the side of the road, so i pull over to see what the big deal is, i look at the car all around, peer in through the glass to see interior inside, i have a chuckle to myself and i on my way.

i wasn't that awe-struck, if you guys are falling over yourselves over that, glad to hear it.

i can see that how it would be quick with an ls1 and solid rear axle being very compact, at the same time i could see how painful it would be fiting 4 adults in it.

I don't like 4th Gens either but in the U.S. when we see a fast or great performing musclecar, we're not usually thinking of the great interior or how many people it can seat. The new GTO is boring and heavy.
