So you want to save the Camaro name???

yea, we are all going too get the same reply i bet. but the thing that seems verry verry wierd is that there is a different name under everyones reply from gm.
it seemns like noone really is even reading them and they are just sending back a standard for liek there is nothing worth reading.
this is making me damn angry, if i didnt have any respect for them, i would send another letter that is more "threatening in nature". but i no that will be bad for us all that love the car and there is no way that i want too be the bad apple that spoiled the bunch. :

Did they ask anything specific to your Camaro question, or was it more of a "Did we solve your problem for you?" type of thing?

IT was some guy from an outside company from GM doing a survey. I just made every answer "bring back the Camaro" oriented. I was trying to get ready for work and was late so my answers were a bit hurried. I'm surprised no one else got this call. They were basically asking if I was happy with GM product and my experience with customer service.

(Banging head against the wall til it's bloody.....)
OK....
quick lesson
take notes
We have approx. 3,000 people (if not more) working in our customer assistance centers.
We do not tell them everything that's going on.
Yes...we have form letters...like every other large company in the world.
DO NOT ASSUME YOUR LETTERS ARE NOT BEING HEARD.
NO, Mr. Lutz, upper management...even me....are not reading each one. If we did we'd have to delay every product program for at least a year.
If you are expecting to get a letter such as Jason D suggested
(Dear Customer...we're sorry...because of your letter, we're immediately going to start building Camaros and Firebirds first thing tomorrow morning) >Hey Mr. Plant Manager at Ste. Therese! Let 'er rip!<
If this is what you're expecting, you really should not be allowed out on your own let alone allowed to drive by yourself.
Look......I've said it until I'm blue in the face......have faith...there's stuff happening in the background....and it was happening before this thread started...longgggg before this thread started. With that said, it can NEVER hurt to send emails and letters in telling GM how much you want a new Camaro and Firebird...and the reasons why.
Just don't expect Mr. Lutz to show up at your door delivering a hand written letter........
Now...keep those "emails with decorum" coming in!
(just stop complaining because we didn't send you a letter saying "Yes! We're gonna build one right now!")
(sorry for the tone..but It's late and I'm tired.......)

So it's been about a month now....
Any indication that we're turning heads?? Are we making any waves over at GM? Are those "unmentioned few" who arent for the camaro name returning being laughed down the hallway back to thier cubicle (or corner office) yet??
