Why does everyone think this is a Camaro?

It could just as easily be a Corvette (fender lines & tail treatment), but even more likely, a trial balloon for a new sedan.

Think we are getting so desparate enough to see a Camaro in everything with a bow tie on the front??

I agree also!

I have nothing against GM developing a 4-door coupe. Fine, go get one. And if you want fwd, fine, no problem. But in a few years I am going to be in the market for a new CAMARO. These other things have nothing to do with a Camaro.

That has been exactly my thinking since the official concpet was shown. Its more Vette than Camaro. Very possibly it can merge into the next Chevelle or Impala.
