8/9 January are press days. Many of us mere mortals will not be able to attend on those days. Has anybody set up a day/time during the public show for some sort of get-together?

I will be there with about 15 or so local F-body guys .

 

I was planning on going up the 14th (first public day).

guion, I would love to devote my resources to this cause, but I will already be in chicago at this point, and I might just drive over to detroit to catch the public days....damn....it would be great to meet you....

otoh, here's some helpful advice....
the 80 will take you there almost half of the trip, it's a very easy drive, but coming from monterey there will be some other freeways involved. I drove it 17 hours straight two days (with intermittent stops on both days lasting about one hour each day) from chicago. I'm sure you probably know this information already, but just wanted to throw it out there. Good luck , God bless...it can be a fun trip, but that is one heckuva car ride....I'm sure if I were there we'd keep each other up going over cars

 

There were a few that were sure to make the list, but honestly, the majority were drawn from a hat, from a list that Red made up....well over 1,250 names all told.

Maybe not, but it could be several states worth of it.

I was thinking of trying to drive it with a friend, but now with my newborn and no job at the moment it might be a little too much to expect.
