I'll probably try and get there mid week, I love going there but the weekend crowd is too much. You can barly see the 'regular' cars let alone the cool ones b/c there are simply too many ppl and too little room. Gotta say though, last time or 2 ago GM was giving out free COLD water, best 2 mins in line you can spend there, you'd never guess it was 25* outside!!

Good deal man. I know a few guys from NJFBOA.org are going, but are going durring public days. I was spoiled last year by going to NYIAS's Press day, and man I loved being able to walk up and see cars without pushing my way through a crowd.

Actually the press days at NAIAS are pretty insane. You have a massive throng of international media all trying to cram into the same press conference. There is definitely some pushing through the crowd going on.

 

Yep, supplier days are actually the best days to go. Believe me, I am already at work for those puppies...

 

I will be preparing for my birthday, January 10th. I hope there is a shiny new concept/production model for me to think of as my birthday present from the General, Scott blue is my favorite color and red is a little overdone (maybe some white stripes to go with it).

 

Due to a surprise in my e-mail yesterday and a scheduling gap, I will be present in Detroit for the Camaro unveiling.

Anyone in California intrested in forming (or already has set up) a convoy aimed at getting from Cali to Detroit in about 50 hours or less, e-mail me. I'm considering driving.

 

Maybe welcoming my second child, first boy into the world (due Jan 11th). I guess that would cinch what he gets to drive when he gets older if it works out that way.

I'll be checking the net ... would love to go to NAIAS someday though. Maybe when the production model debuts.
