I'd get the '02 for now. You can always sell it before you buy the new one.

And I highly recommend the '02. I've been harvesting rice on a near-daily basis with mine, plus, It's a delight to drive.

This thread is funny.

I seriously doubt that the Camaro will have less power than the GTO. If anything it would be reasonable to expect it to have exactly the same HP output.

I like to think of the GTO as the Firebird replacement, and they were almost always the same power.

Now now now, we all know that Firebird was made purely for those that needed a Camaro but were born with abnormally wiered taste...

4. Finally, where on earth did you get the idea that theres going to be ANY specs on a car that's still at the very minimum 2 years from production?! Solstice is just now in production & we didn't get actual specs on it till last winter!
See, hearing that is still the only real thing that bothers me about the next generation Camaro...A two year wait (at the minimum) is really disappointing for someone who is a die-hard enthusiast and wants a new one in the worst way...Believe me, I can wait (I mean, what other choice do I have at this point, LOL)...But all I got to say is that I sure hope this "wait" is well worth it...
