If that's the real GTO, looks good so far! I'll reserve final judgment after some confirmation and a bigger picture.

Still looks just like a Grand Am/Prix and like it hasn't changed since the 1st picture. *Doh* 18" rims are a little too much IMO.

I have had those pictures for 3 weeks now..they are embargoed untill January 7th. It really pisses me off when I hold up on a scoupe and someone else breaks the rules to get it. I would have posted them if a good and powerful friend at GM made me promise not to. But yes that is the GTO show car..

I, too, still think it looks way too much like a current (97-03) Grand Prix from the front, and an large Cavalier from the side... but... I am happy with the mechanicals and layout. (V8/RWD/2 doors)

It looks like a..........

.....handsome car......nothing earth shattering, but no-one expected that. It'll do just fine.......for now.........

My biggest disappointment and sadness comes from the corporate design that is now Pontiac and also seems to be a cancer that has spread to Chevrolet too......notice every model on that page had the fugly "spear" across the grille....oh sure, most were trucks and I guess we have to accept that, BUT the fuggin' Malibu had it too .......along with the newly re-styled Cavalier......sure signs of indiviual model identity death.......heaven forbid the Camaro returns with that monstrosity!!

I guess this is why individual models are now reffered to in numerical and alphabetical references.......no more individual identity........just small, medium and large.......sux big @$$ if you ask me...............I can see it now....no more Camaro, just some innocuous designation on a medium sized, spear grilled unrecognizable car.

It's a small photo, but from what I can see, I like it.

The Malibu, on the other hand.....

I miss those side creases on the Malibu from that one sketch. I like the 2 trucks and I think the GTO looks great too.
