Slp Gto Judge?
They're gonna unfortunatly do something with the GTO. I just hope that hood scoops will be factory and not put on by them, at least by 04. (model year 05) Hopefully dual side exhaust will be here for the 05 model too from GM.
I dont think any car that goes through SLP will be worth as much as if GM did it themselves and made it a true OEM Judge.
I think if GM actually made TRUE OEM Camaro SS instead of aftermarket ones through SLP disguised as OEM I think the Camaro SS's value over the long term would hold up better then it will.
For the most part (NOT all) collectors cars a true unmodded OEM cars that had limited production but high demand.

Actually SLP still handled the "base" SS conversions from 98-up, but WS6 conversions went to ASC.
Both the SS and WS6 were SLP jobs in 96 & 97 however, as I have my build number from SLP on my car.
Every time I think of the whole arrangement I get annoyed. I think the packages were overpriced and if GM could have done at least the base SS and WS6 in-house I think they could have done it much cheaper.

It's rare to see any AMC fans, let alone fans of the Javelin.

Did SLP give you a specific build number for your WS6? I did a ton of research to try to find the # for my old WS6 and SLP told me that they didn't keep records of the 96-97 WS6s they made because GM did not require them to do so. I always thought this was strange since 96-97 SS's do have specific build numbers. The only thing I know about my car is that it was 1 of 1,000 some-odd WS6 Trans Am coupes made in 97.
Yeah I posted my VIN on their message board and they gave me #2257.
They told me they were the Tier 1 supplier for the LT1 WS6s, meaning they did the conversions. Its a shame they (meaning SLP) don't really celebrate it or support it like they do the SS and Firehawk.

SLP installed the hood and spoiler on all SS's at their facility.
They also installed the "second sticker" SLP options while the car was there.
JeffY (SLP Engineering chief engineer) was not readily admitting they were doing anything with the GTO when I talked to him a couple of weeks ago. I'd take that as a definite "maybe".
