And I believe there is some enthusiasm on this board for GTO discussion. I know I'm dying for more info on the next GTO.

well it was mentioned by the guy that leaked alot of the pictures out of the movie, he said there was a rumor going around about the 2009 GTO showing up on set ...BUT this is before Dreamworks put thier foot down and did damage control on the pics already out, I had to read it two times before noticing he said it. Just goes right by you when you were looking at the TF pics. So yea if there are any 09 GTO's then you gotta figure that Dreamworks has a tight belt now and not letting any of this stuff slip.

Remember the first good spy shots of the CTS was on the set of the Matrix. Though, 2009 car vs a 2007 movie release sounds like a bad press showing (not like GM knows what it's doing with Pontiac trying to create buzz re: G6/Oprah, Solstice/Apprentice).
Is it possible? Sure. Is it probable? Signs point to no.

true but we all called BS on this 5th gen..and we first thought it was a reskinned car and now evidnece is leading to beleive otherwise..to actual preproduction car possibly..or test mule..

Re: side not to TF movie: 2009 GTO
No GTO eh? that's a bummer...while I'm extremely excited to see the Camaro, my Pontiac enthusiat side can't help but be dissapointed...part of me wants to get a '06 before they're gone...but part of me wants to wait and see what the next gen holds...any hints Scott? (j/k) I know you'd probably like to but can't say anything :-)

Actually, I don't remember Scott ever confirming or denying the existance of the yellow 5th Gen until after it was exposed. At which point he confirmed there are more than the silver and red.

Ellwyn,
This was posted by ChrisL:
"I spoke to Fbodfather earlier tonight and he confirmed whatever was seen was not a Camaro concept.
End of story."
Now before anyone goes off and says things like "the yellow car isn't technically a concept" , and things like that, if anyone was to see a new Camaro driving down the street, he/she would believe that it was a concept. How are we supposed to know that it's a concept, prototype, body draped over another chassis, or an alpha, or beta car, or whatever?
If it looks like a Camaro, then it is. Let's not split hairs on this.

Re: side not to TF movie: 2009 GTO
Looking at the pic you added the link for made me realize I REALLY don't care for the angle of the front windshield. It looks like it needs to extend forward a little more. It's too 'bubbly'. It needs a slightly more raked windshield.
Re: side not to TF movie: 2009 GTO
I always liked the rake windshield look. Yeah, the engine is tucked under the windshield some, but it still isn't really that hard to work on. I don't think the concept rake is going to change much anyway, so this is probably a moot point.
