I don't think Pontiac dealers would mind getting out of the SUV/minivan market if they had some really hot cars to sell. I think Pontiac's lineup should look like this
Large RWD V8 ONLY high performence car. Make two different hp V8's avaible, the LS7 would be nice(wouldn't intrude on the vette since this is a 4000lb+ car). Price 33-40K Call it Boniville.
Midsize 3.6 DOCH V6 and V8 AWD only Grand Prix.(25K-33K)
Solstice
New V8 only RWD GTO, with some real pizzaz. Make it avaible without options, priced 28K-38K
Maybe a small AWD crossover, similar to the Vibe for a starter vechile(something that will in no way compete with the Cobalt.) Offer the S/C Ecotec 4 banger as an option. Price it 20K-25K.
Every car should have a manual tranny avaible in any engine combo. All models should have great handling and serious tires standard. Make the ride firm, but not so firm that it scares people away. All models should also have a sport package with a stiffer suspension and larger wheels/tires. We also need better auto trannies.

I think that Pontiac should have a sporty cross over or small SUV. I think Torrent should be AWD only and pack the 2.8 or 3.6 with teh 5spd Aisin unit. 17's stock with very taught suspension and hyrdaulic steering.
Id like to see a Delta hatchback for Pontiac so that we could seperate the Detla triplets. Gets rid of the Vibe and Sunfire and gives us a TRUE GM compact.

The only brands with SUVs should be Chevy, GMC and Caddilac. Period. ANYthing between Chevy and Caddy could be handled by GMC. Thats the point of them isn't it? 
Pontiac should be all cars save maybe one or two small suvs or crossovers, because it's a lot easier to inject personality into something that size than a Yukon, sorry, you're not hotting it up. Just not happening. The same could be said for Buick and Saturn, maybe toss in a Pacifica style buick minivan and a midsize saturn SUV and you're done.
