Shelby and Ford getting back together!!

Could Ford be working on a new concept that is inspired from one of Shelby's past creations? (AC Cobra, Daytona coupe, Shelby Stang)

Shelby's gone a bit loony over the past few years if you ask me. With that series 1 and then the ZMax endorsement....he actually said that every Series 1 would come with ZMax. Looks like he's selling his name for money.

He's also the President of this company.

I got suckered into buying stock in this company about six years ago, before Carroll got involved. (Smokey Yunick was involved at the time.) After Carroll bought stock and got interested it ran up from $7 to $28 in three days. I should've sold then, but I believed in Carroll and I believed in the engine.

It's now worth about 35¢ a share.

Live and learn.

Maybe Mr. Shelby should stick to BBQ sauce.

He's been doing that ever since the mid-80s when he was peddling "performance" FWD Dodges. This man has coasted more on his reputation than anyone in the history of the industry.

I would like the see the return of a 2-seat AC Cobra or a new Daytona coupe. I doubt the Daytona coupe would return under the Ford nameplate since I believe Chrysler currently own the "Daytona" name.

I wouldnt be surprised to the replacement of the Dodge Intrepid sedan being called the "Daytona" and the coupe version being called the "Daytona Charger".

LOL yeah i saw that zmax add. I actually bought the crap form autozome just to see if it did anything, lol man what a waste of money. All it did was make my car run like crap. If shelby is to make a car it should be the return of the shelby mustang.

It's been rumored for some time that with the retro 05 S197 Mustang comming that Shelby will get involved with a GT series. Back when I heard the rumors it sounded far fetched but now it seems atleast possible. I'm sure Ford went to Carol not the other way around. Could be some interesting stuff ahead.

Just imagine if the new 06 Cobra was done with Shelby trim and logos and with its 5.4L 3v heads and sc'd 500hp could really be a fitting tribute to the GT500!

Not a Ford fan but the dark side doesn't look so dark anymore!
