I think it would be cool to have a choice of a 4dr or 2dr supercharged Cobalt. And this looks a lot like the Mazda3. The body kit really hides a lot of the akward design of the Cobalt sedan well.

I think the sedan is growing on me a little. This is not that bad, except for the color and the exhaust outlets. Also, the sedan should have those round tail lights like the coupe.

Wow this would actually look cool as a production car, that spoiler looks nice too the SS coupes should have that instead of the high rise one, giant brakes look nice too even though they would be overkill.

Re: SEMA Cobalts
The Cobalt Sedan is much better looking in person than in the pics...I saw a beige LT at a local fair a month ago...it looked VERY nice in person. I too thought it was somewhat awkward looking, based on the pics.
GM Auto Book at the dealership FINALLY had some pricing available for me to play around with this past weekend...some good deals to be had.
-$14,190 is the base model, as previously advertised. Standard A/C, 145hp 2.2, 5 speed, rear defogger,CD, and that's about all...but a leather wheel is an intriguing standard (5 speeds only).
-$15,230 will get you a base model with a spoiler, ABS, PL with keyless.
-$16,300 gets you a base LS. This includes all of the previous equipment (except for the spoiler) plus PW, p-mirrors, CD with RDS, 15" alloys, body-color bumpers, better seats, cruise, etc.
-$17,855 is the one I'd buy, assuming my girlfriend does get a new car next summer. A Cobalt LS with all the above equipment plus the $595 sport package (16" alloys, spoiler, white-faced gagues, chrome exhaust tip, fog lights, "sport front and rear fascias"), $750 moonroof and $150 Pioneer stereo with subwoofer. Considering that a current LS Sport Cavalier MSRP runs the same price with the same equipment, this seems to me to be a VERY good deal...
-$18,700 is a standard LT sedan. Leather, heated seats, 17" alloys, the whole 9 yards is standard, including an AT. Too bad you can't get an LT with a stick...
And of course...$22,100 or so is the Cobalt SS....hehehehehehe...
I think these price points work rather well, considering current J body pricing as well as the competition. It appears to be the same in pricing to the Civic and 3, if not a little less. Then considering the GM rebates and, well, I think the cars will sell VERY well.
No $4,000 rebates for these cars, but they don't need them either!!

Re: SEMA Cobalts
If you orderd your Cobalt before the 16th, GM gave you free add ons. I belive that if you orderd a Cobalt SS, you got XM and the sunroof for free, a 1k option.
That sounds like a better plan then giving the Cobalt rebates off the bat like the G6.
