Saw a H3, EV1 and ? within about 2 weeks of each other

I live by the GM proving grounds. I was going some place and noticed a car waiting to make a left turn. It was a EV1. Weird. I thought that was all done and they were all gone.

Then I saw a H3. It was coming at me head on. Front end was masked up, and everything on the H3 was different colors. As in, the wheel skirts were different than the body and the doors were different. Everything was different. It looked pretty decent. Maybe a little cartoony. Kind of like a kids Tonka truck or something. But, its size is impressive. It looks BIG. even though you know, its not really big, it looks imposing. Probably sell as many of these as they can make.

Lastly, I saw a CTS? coming at me head on from across a boulevard. So, it was a ways off. But it definitely did not look like a regular CTS, or a CTSV. Unless someone hs been modding one up around here, this was something else. It looked low to the ground. Looked like it might have had some type of ground skirting on it. Brake calipers were red too. Wish I had more details on this.

Didn't get a chance to whip out the camera phone for any of these. Sorry.

Could the third one be an STS or STS-V prototype running on CTS' sheetmetal to avoid public attention? Just wondering if it could have been that

Possibly. It was quite a ways away.

H3 look good to me too. MT says the H3 should do 0-60 in 8.9 sec. That is pretty good for the I5 in that sized vehicle.

0-60's from MotorTrend
H2 = 10.2
Equinox AWD = 9.1
Escape V6 4WD = 10.6
Lexus LX 470 = 9.5
Lincoln Navigator = 9.5
Jeep Liberty V6 = 9.6
